>How does this work?
>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.
>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

Diving Belle doodle. How are we feeling this Sunday?
This here was just uploaded to the WHTRJ? thread and itโs hilarious
>>149687265Trying to keep my head above a sea of negativity and failing miserably.
Nice pic.
>>149687540I'm sorry to hear that, thanks for the compliment.
>>149686795Not sure why you can't do it yourself, but here
>>149689038Bountiful but bizarrely big bug butt.
>>149689918That's some high grip strength.
>>149690279They didn't hire him for his old world gumbo recipie (though that is an appreciated bonus)
>>149689038I couldn't get that beautiful transparency done for one. Thanks.
>>149689459>Bountiful but bizarrely big bug butt. It's just padding in her suit. Marley is extremely lacking in both butts and boobs.
>>149691075>It's just padding in her suitOh, I know, I just think alliteration is fun.
I don't think anymore feedback was coming, so I've updated the JackHammer scripts page.

And goodnight everyone.
>>149692199It's not just that, the one on the right doesn't look like a healthy human at all.

Good night, /coc/.

>>149701727I meat top right. I wonder if the drawfag is here.
>>149702267Oh, those are not robots, they're dudes in power armor. Well, the one on the left is at least, I think Tectonic Knight wears standard plate armor.
Don't die yet, let's aim higher.

>>149704490Welp, won't be able to use that one for an OP.
Is that the Starblazer?
>>149704490Lila sure loves doing things naked.
>>149704573And I like seeing her do those things.
>>149704552>Is that the Starblazer?Maybe! I didn't have anything specific in mind while doodling but I guess you could consider it an interpretation of it.
>>149686450 (OP)Made a little contribution to the threads. I really like the design of Moth Macabre and wish to see more of him,
>>149707032That's so cool anon! I myself haven't drawn Moth in a hot minute, I really should change that.
>>149706377It seems gallant enough to be Tennoc's ship. I imagine Quaslan's is more black and red and spiky.
>>149707347Thanks!
I do hope youโll draw more!
>>149707360Funnily enough, I originally thought about drawing Moth Macabre beating Goliath and towering over him, glaring menacingly and threatening him
>>149708133>I do hope youโll draw more!I'm in a bit of a flunk right now, so it might take some time, but thanks.
>>149708133>Funnily enough, I originally thought about drawing Moth Macabre beating Goliath and towering over him, glaring menacingly and threatening himWe often portray him as silly, but if he can keep up with Mantis he's absolutely got some tricks up his sleeve that could potentially get the better of even a powerhouse like Goliath. After all, a lot of Goliath's tech is based on the Mantis of his world...
>>149708514Iโll be patient
>>149709128People in universe would probably think of him as less of a threat at the beginning because he wasnโt born into money to fuel his crime life, or has some kind of freak accident giving him powers, or a genius that just invented a super weapon. They underestimate how much he can snowball into power, amass gadgets and funds, and creep into the top.
>>149703927OK, but I don't know how much effort I can muster this week.
>>149710127Let's at least try and make it to Wednesday so we can say we lasted over half the week. Anyways, goodnight anons.
>>149710273Goodnight.
We'll see if the thread makes it.
>>149704490I know about "jumping the shark", but I never even heard about anyone doing it in reverse.
Good morning, coffee time.
>>149714060It is.
[spoilers] It's also pretty bittersweet, considering how Marley's family life turned out.[/spoiler]
>>149714060It is.
It's also pretty bittersweet, considering how Marley's family life turned out.
>>149686450 (OP)Has there been an attempt to make a /co/ project thatโs grounded, serious, and straight with it from beginning to end?
>>149714649Define what you mean by grounded and straight with it.
>>149714691As in more oriented towards having more drama elements and being set in a world thatโs more realistic
>>149714715Realism is never too prominent in /coc/ projects since there's a lot of focus on fantasy and sci-fi with all the superheroes, magic, and space stuff.
I'm not sure if there has been a drama focused project either. There may have been attempts, but but they were not grounded in reality.
>>149714638>spoilerI like to think she will eventually let the "sweet" overcome the "bitter", that's just me though.
>>149715039Will if not then is there something less superhero oriented, not revolving around what makes /co/โs collective cocks hard, and with minimum comedy?
>>149715303Minimum comedy is where that gets difficult.
Less superhero orientated stories would be more like the space setting or the demon planes setting. Those are the ones that actually have some meat to them.
But the type of non-funny serious drama story you're looking for is something you will likely need to make yourself if you want it to be in the context of /coc/.
>>149715303You're welcome to come up with something but I'd advise you to look at the greater board and remember there's a reason published works like that rarely get discussed.
>>149715079Well, her dad is still dead, so...
>>149717052Yeah, that's... well, nevermind.
>>149717573Hey, look at the bright side, at least Bishops actually loved each other through a substantial amount of Marley's childhood. Some people aren't even allowed to have that.
>>149717782That's one way to look at it, things can always be worse for someone else.
What would be a good name for a /coc/ game studio?
>>149717782I'm now imagining Arthur drawing up a graph to demonstrate to Marley how she objectively had a less dysfunctional childhood than he did.
>>149719635"Oh my God, familial trauma not a competition!"
"Yeah, because I'd be winning!""
>>149718895>>149719787>>149719895The funny thing is that, while Arthur's time in Munich was basically an all around clusterfuck, he kinda doesn't view it that way. He doesn't look back on it like it was all sunshine and rainbows either, he just has a *really* warped perception of what constitutes a "bad life". Because of that, I can imagine him sharing some of the more messed up factoids from his childhood while completely oblivious to how it comes off (Likely while boozed up, cause usually he's way too reserved for something like that).
>"So yeah, I almost got aborted on at least five separate occasions. Granted, not all of them were by my mother's initiative; Brauns *really* didn't want me around at first, but they eventually warmed up to the idea, I suppose. Good thing too: if no one was around to keep her away from cleaning goods and fondue forks I might've not made it out after all.">"...Oh."
>>149712921>>149720909Dang barley it's barely the evening. Good night to y'all anyways.
>>149720090Hmm. The implication is they told him about all of the attempts.
Or someone did anyway.
That's messed up in it of itself.
>>149719635>>149719787>>149719895>>149720090>>149721033I am not sure for other /coc/ characters (Or fanwork versions of established characters), but I know Fanwork Gert is probably close in terms of childhood trauma since she and most of her alternate selves (Aside from Maybe GRRT! and Grace) are pretty much the original versions from IHF, and aside from main Fanwork Happy, the other versions of Happy had their fates from the comic and Hortense had a fate similar to Gert. Thank goodness Mom Gert somehow managed to raise a kid without the kid developing mental problems.
>>149720965Time is all funky man, just because I live a little bit eastward I technically am talking to you from the future.
>>149718549"Banned on Steam and Itch.io"
>>149721822I knew we shouldn't have picked Rocket Childhood for our first game...
>>149721033>implicationHe likely found out before he turned seven too, before Brauns cut him off.
>>149724721Maybe that's why he stopped caring so early on. No matter what he did, the problem was both always and never him.
