Theres already talks about Disney selling most of it's cable networks to Rupert Murdoch's Fox just so Disney can have the money to buy Warner Bros.

They're keeping ABC, ABC News, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD and all of the ESPN channels but are selling the rest to Rupert Murdoch's Fox.

For the last time (since you made this exact thread yesterday) they are splitting the tv channels off and handing all the debt to it they are they are preparing to continue as a healthy independent company

They're splitting up the tv channels off so they can make the process of selling the film/IP studio much easier since they don't need to deal with the FTC when it's just the film/IP studio.

God I fucking hope itโ€™s not Disney, they wreck every franchise they buy, Looney Tunes is already in a pretty fucked up state as it is we do not need it to be even worse, we do not need Looney Tunes to conform to being safe shit since the whole purpose of Looney Tunes since the beginning was rebelling against Disney.

Apple is the only one who can buy DC. It'd be more than a bargain for them as they need the IP to make Apple TV profitable because it's their only service that isn't profitable and that's a huge embarrassment to them. DC and Harry Potter would be huge for that service.

Disney would literally be burning a hole in their pocket if they bought WB they'd just be taking on a company with ludicrously bad PR
The real prize would be all the IPs they can scrape ideas from for the next 1000 years, but their OWN scrape bucket has been blowing up in their face as they desperately try to resurrect the MCU

The IP's are valuable but it's really about the WB lot, that's A1 real estate in California, probably the most valuable land on the planet, ready for development.
Sony tried to buy Paramount just for the lot, the industry is moving to Nevada where it's cheaper to film and they don't have an intrest in maintaining a streaming service. I assume it's the same for the others, you get multi billion dollar plot of land and Batman

Why would Disney ever want Warner Bros? Disney is one of the most Non Masculine companies ever. We already know what they do to male franchises. And its worse than what Nickelodeon has done to Ninja Turtles. So basically if you want Warner's properties to be dare I say it "respected" they need to be sold to Universal. In fact in the future Disney themselves will be EATEN by Universal.

Universal is Disney's eternal rival as early as Universal stealing Oswald from Walt Disney himself so it would be karma that long after Walt has died Universal comes to own Disney's ass. All MUST return to Universal eventually for one thing Universal has the titular name for it. All begins and ends with Universal. Disney is just a disobedient little brat who thinks he's going to win against his father. That's the history of Universal and Disney.

Not to defend Disney but the main thing that's happening at Disney is they have hired a lot of woke freakshows and trashy women being promoted to positions of power. That's why so many Disney productions are trash all these horrible activists. But Warner is not innocent remember African American Batgirl? Yes it got shelved bravo for that tactic but you know that Warner has their own internal failings and Gunn is one of those freaks.

Underperforming more like outright failing. Disney's MCU has no more fuel. Not even the incoming X-Men is going to be a guarantee to profit especially if rumors are true (hiring that ugly bald actress from Wicked to be Storm, and race swapping both Magneto and Professor Xavier). Once Disney fails with X-Men they will have nothing at all and Kevin Feige will be truly out of a job. He has no more safety nets afterward because Spiderman is Sony's prostitute.

Why would Disney ever want Warner Bros?
DC, because they're running low on Marvel characters.

Plus Disney is plaining to make Warner Bros their boys division hence the Bros in their name, plus they left Fox alone.
>>149695136
Also Animaniacs'2020.
>>149695167
If anything it's...

>Sony
Only wants Warner Bros for Jojo and their anime department but mostly Jojo, the US branch sees this as returning Spider-Man and Venom back to Disney so they can make DC movies instead and Warner Bros being able to use certain songs for free again, namely Powerhouse.

>Disney
Only for DC, Family Guy can use WB's stuff for free cutting down it's $2 million dollar per episode production cost down to $200,000 per episode, The Disney Treasures sets being updated for Blu-Ray through Warner Archive, another attempt of a Animaniacs reboot (done right this time with the original crew) for Hulu and more stuff for Disney+.

>Universal
Best case scenario for longevity, also Walter Lants shorts, Harveytoons, Felix the Cat (1950s and Twisted Tales) and Rocky and Bullwinkle on Blu-Ray through Warner Archive.

>DC, because they're running low on Marvel characters.

They actually aren't. The catalog of characters in X-Men alone that Fox hasn't even used is lengthy, to say nothing of other stuff from Marvel they haven't used yet.

Disney's problem right now is their reputation isn't as good as it used to be. Yes, they had Lilo and Stitch and Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. But they also had, since 2023:

>Quantumania
>The Marvels
>Elemental
>Indiana Jones 4
>Brave New World
>Thunderbolts
>F4 First Steps

Some of these are not that bad. But it's very clear that Disney expected them to do better.

Buying DC accomplishes nothing if they're just going to continue to mismanage it like they're doing with their own stuff.
