The main issue is Carly was such a massive downgrade compared to nearly every other spider girl. The other problem was the writers getting in each other's way. Kelly was batting so hard for Norah but the other writers weren't having it. Michelle was completely mismanaged. Black Cat was kind of doomed because their relationship was completely reset.
