I've come to the realization that, having not really enjoyed much in the way of TF media in the last 10 years, I've largely been downgraded to a casual fan. Is till buy toys and follow the comics, but I'm nowhere near as hardcore as I was over the fiction as a teenager in the 2000's/early 2010s.
It's sort of weird since it was the first franchise I was die hard into.

You sound like much more than merely a casual fan desu. A casual fan just watches the mainstream movies when they come out. You've spent so much time on this site that you forgot what's considered normal.

In the last ten years the franchise has gone through some pretty big changes. IDW is radically different from the Transformers I grew up with and loved.

What we need is male human on female cybertronian romance, this franchise has thrown bitches way too many bones in regards to the opposite, closest we ever got to it was Jack and Arcee but everyone outside of here treats it as taboo because the former's a high schooler (even though it doesn't matter either way because all cybertronians are millions of years old)
