Wish Composition
Greetings comrade. Will you join me in the /co/ve of shadows for a moment?
We have much to discuss

I was thinking on the discussion from the genie thread earlier. It seems like any one wish is either ultimately simple (physically possible), or a key to extreme and conceivably limitless power. Any one wish which would require magic implies a certain flexibility to reality, and if you have enough people to craft an interesting narrative, you should have a way to accomplish a lot even with one genie.

The topic I propose is simple. Rather than a genie, let me act as a paranormal connection. We don't know anything of my abilities, nor the risk of asking me to grant a wish myself, just accepting something /might/ come true for the sake of at least one wish. My goal is to see any wish granted, and since the "price" could easily involve something trivial (eg., a faithful heart, a naive soul, a trinket of pure innocence, etc.), the assumption is someone somewhere has already met the condition and I simply guide 'you' to realize it

All you need to play in this game is a useful wish, made any amount of time ago. Link it here and (optionally?) explain how others might get closer to their own wish, if yours came true. Links are ideally going to text, though if you definitely cannot find a source other than its screenshot, you can technically post it

To provide a foothold for the "plot," I cite for myself not a greater claim than this:

RULES:
I may not create or invent anything for the sake of this thread. Remaining as a neutral observer is necessary for the cited ability. Direct questions are not in my power to ignore.

Since there is not a story for me to join, for the moment, my character vanishes (though I'm not gonna post using a name)

>too many variables
The concept is easy enough, people can train and adjust. Physics doesn't have a problem with anyone improving their art. It is a pretty down-to-earth idea in an otherwise supernatural topic. Yet getting everything organized to actually achieve whatever influence could make it happen... And having to convince everyone involved the opinion of one poster is the greatest most important... The resources necessary to get an equivalent project off the ground are completely outside of any serious consideration. Yet nothing says we couldn't do it.

I also like the fourth wall aspect of it—improving the quality of the whole industry indirectly makes the granting of another wish more realistic.

The tools to grant it already exist. Let me know if you need higher quality filters

Dang I actually saw the post which killed the thread. Shame consensus replaced free will

where can we find a neutral inventor?

Answering would mean knowing something were conceptually neutral. Taking a journey to verify neutral facts and return with a valid understanding of which polities or identities or trivialities are actually neutral. Any response could fail a neutrality check simply from how it got sent at all without proving systems level cooperation is procedurally neutral.

Have you checked in a neutral territory?

When did this article turn to shit? Trying to cram every ability into it without even good examples of characters who see any of these powers in terms of variables makes the whole wiki useless. Like grasping for omnipotence is the sole possible use of any special power and using any given ability for anything else makes you "weak" somehow

The real weakness is not having the fucking balls to drop your power level/take off the super suit/enchanted armor

Hrm. The first version just says "quantifiable values" which was what I actually meant. Not sure how it got fucked up but generally infinity screws up a virtual world more than anything else can. Was kinda relying on this article for low key power construction too, might have to scrap a ton of stuff now. Auuuuuuugh

The only acceptable form of infinity is ammunition
