One of the main features of capitalism that separates it from previous modes of production is that the workers are free to sell their labor on the labor market. A minimum wage worker doesn’t have many options with their limited experience, but presumably there’s going to be another fast food role that doesn’t trivialize a mass murderer. Bruce is just letting him know why he might want to get a different job.

I feel like the only one who felt kinda meh on King's Batman run rather than some extreme. It was much better than Snyder's slop, but too many throughlines would fizzle out at random and there were some odd duck decisions that just didn't sit right, even I appreciated the big swings it took.

The sad thing is that it is probably the best Batman run since Morrison, which doesn't say much.

Sticking to the moral high ground kind of loses its fucking point somewhere around the hundredth murder, and Joker's pushing a million in some continuities.

I get that this problem is purely a consequence of the writers/publishers and their unwillingness to change the status quo of Batman's rogues gallery... but it's a problem nevertheless. Either make Batman more flexible in his moral code, or stop having stories where the Joker randomly executes hundreds of people and then chills in Arkham for a few weeks before breaking out and doing it again.
