I couldn’t get into season 3 and season 5 when I rewatched it, outside a few episodes here and there. And I actually found season 6 to be a mixed bag where I found it either good or abysmal.
Generally though I felt immediate apathy once season 5 hit and despite me saying that season 6 is better than it, I can still feel that emotion linger throughout that it does degrade the overall experience a bit for me.
Overall I do think that the show’s production values could not match the production quotas once season 3 hit and that they had to autopilot a lot of their work, and while I think they got a good flow again going during season 4, it just all ended up all collapsing under pressure after enough time and the writers were just trying to perform a job once season 5 rolled in. They got a few lucky strikes but not enough to pass is the best way to put it for me.

Almost none of it so far feels like Gumball, the wit and british humor is gone and replaced with mentioning the current thing (muh essential workers), the pacing is disjointed as hell, and alot of the animation feels like it's trying to channel season 1/2 energy but just comes off as tryhard. The Burger/Thing/Traffic/Teacher are alright but would be C tier episodes in the original show

The next episode, The Letter, is the second worst one in the season to me. The rest of the episodes are either forgettable, controversial like The Portrait and The Amadain, or actually good like The Wrinkle (the best episode of the season) and The Pool.
