2.) since this is only concept art , there's no actual proof this made it into the finish game. So there's a real possibility this isn't canon lore at all and was never meant to be seen as such.
3.) The fact that the primary canon never acknowledges it makes it even more likely it's not canon.

It's the very conception for how the underworld was designed. The regular world is infinite, the underworld is conceived as infinite by the people who illustrated and created it. GOW worlds are infinite.

I didn't say Bruno was unreliable. I said Death Battle takes characters at their best. There's a vision of Kratos that needs a dog sled to travel around at subsonic speeds and struggles to break open chests, as his devs may have intended. There's also a vision that scales a layer above an outerversal structure. Death Battle chose to take the latter, as they take the characters at their best. They also conceded things like finite speed and sub-conceptual scaling for Kratos in the episode, anyway.
