Favorite Lightsaber form?

My favorite thing the EU used to do was take a character with some unique cool design or features and base their entire race on it.
Like how Boba’s cool armored design became a whole race of armored guys or how Ventress pale bald look became the defining appearance of the Rattataki race only for it to be basically retcon genocided from existence when they changed her origins.
Same with giving every random background character in the OT extensive backstories, love that shit.

This was one of the greatest parts of EU. As I kid I could browse wookieepedia for hours reading about all the crazy backstories. It made the whole universe feel so alive. It was almost Tolkiensque in how extensive the lore was for seemingly insignificant characters.

I was a kid when I first saw the prequels, and I just recently rewatched them from the recent rereleases, and I'm sorry bro but they're fucking trash movies. Phantom Menace's pacing is fucked up beyond all repair, Revenge of the Sith makes no fucking sense in any shape or form, and Attack of the Clones is legitimately one of the worst films ever made, let alone the worst Star Wars film (including the sequels).
I do have a soft spot for Phantom Menace though because is sound design is fucking GODLY. Ben Burr is a fucking SFX jedi master. I will agree that all the supplemental material is awesome, especially Genndy Wars, and the setting itself isn't really a problem.
That all said, 1999- Wars is still on average way better than Didney Wars. Everything Didney has done with a few exceptions (Mando 1-2, Andor) has been completely unsalvageable garbage.

I find myself unironically liking Young Jedi Adventures. The animation quality is surprisingly good, the voice acting is exactly what they want it to be. I find it very comfy, the pacing and writing remind be of early 00's nick jr style shows, before kids shows turned into annoying hyperactive colors and noises like Teen Titans Go.

Disney should launch a 24/7 star wars channel that just plays all star wars. They could have content blocks, mornings are kids stuff, like the new cartoons and lego star wars cartoons. They could have weekly content blocks, like a week of only OT era stuff, a week of only PT era stuff, etc. They could show the various documentaries, and show the forbiddn christmas special and the lego christmas specials through december. They could have various marathons, chronological, release order, machete order, etc. They could have commercials for the latest toys, video games, and merch, and they could stream it over basically every service. I don't think the sequel trilogy was that much of a slamdunk culture wise with kids like the og and prequels(despite their flaws) were due to a dearth of great games and bad toys.
Also star wars now i m o has lost a lot of the mystique it used to have; prequel came out like it did with a ton of fanfare due to star wars having virtually went dormant for years, and it never went away like it did before, and then shit was massively oversaturated since the sequels.
