How come most of the VAs from the Renaissance did little to nothing after their one character?

because there wasnt really a thing as "watch on ipad"
you had to rent the video and etc. (yes i know i sound like a boomer but im 28).
those VA's made so much money they didnt really need to do anything else other than a few roles just for some upkeep.

They did plenty, just not stuff you would be familiar with, or off-camera work like writing and producing. And half of them were already fairly famous (and were hired because they were already famous)
