Usually one of four scenarios happen, and only one of them will actually make them happy long term:
>A) Suicide
Most twinks are self-concious on their appearance and use it as a form of security. When they lose being able to look youthfull they become insecure and cam spiral into self-harm and suicide.
>B) Troon-out
A common strategy twinks try to do in order to prolongue a youthfull look is to do estrogen cycles. A lot of twink pornstars do it and eventually what happen is when they begin to hit the wall or their mental state starts to get worse due to hormonal imbalance they will then try to transition into being a woman. They then retroactively justify this is something they knew all their life and end up back to option A or option C.
>C) Twink by proxy
Instead of staying a twink they will go after twinks themselves to live vicariously through them. This can take the form of them going into "otter mode" or trying to become a "daddy" and they will try to recreate the experiences they had as a twink with reversed roles as the scenario itself turns them on but not them necessarily being the non-twink if that makes sense. This can go down the predatory route very quickly to say the least and if they are already option B they will likely try to railroad their twink partner into transitioning themselves.
>D) Heel turn
Unable to cope with their security deprived and lifestyle being no longer fully viable, a small number of twinks go full trad cath or "I chose to be gay but now I am straight!" and make being a former gay their new identity. Some go full conservative or go hard into religion as a new coping mechanism and as a tool to surpress their insecurities. Depending on whether they do it genuinely or in an unhealthy way to re-stabilize their insecurities is down to the twink, but if done out of a genuine desire to change themselves to a new sustainable lifestyle or self-identity they can live happily long term.
