I'm thinking of writing my own book but it does borrow the idea of a ghost girl from a previous time in history haunting a guy in current day and it taking a toll on him.
I'm probably going to have a pseudonym if it gets to that point of publishing. Anyway, the story has a setting of a theater, the pov of the book being a coworker of the guy being haunted, and having a mix of comedy, drama, and horror.
Do you guys think I'm differentiating it enough from Hladilnik? I was also planning on having the girl's killer show up at the theater and the theme revolve around creation and movies.
