There are children who don't know what The Lion King is anymore. How do you feel about that?

There are children that didn't know what it was in the 90s, 00s, or 10s either. I feel neutral because the entire planet doesn't need to have consumed all the exact same media as I did when I was a child.

You may think less furries is a good thing, but no, it isn't.

Any parents who took their kid to see the shitty 2019 version of The Lion King instead of the original is an abusive parent
good. children are developing their own taste and not turning into cattle for mediocre slop being shoved down their throat.
when we take power, we will make one last Disney movie.
at the end of this movie all the Disney characters, and also zootopia, transformers and ninja turtles, will be gunned down in a bloody massacre. all adult fans will be forced to watch. it will all be Official Canon.

I kind of doubt this is a large scale thing because they just plot their kid in front of Disney+ to watch it or YouTube kids would have clips
Also live action Lion King made a shit ton people took their kids to see it

I felt bad back in like....'08 when I was working and asking people what their favorite Disney movies were and was getting hit over the head by people legitimately going "Lilo And Stitch". As if people could have taste beyond the "Golden/Renaissance Era" of Disney. It just felt like if you weren't naming a film from, like....LIttle Mermaid to Tarzan then, you know, you're a baby. And it still feels a little weird to me. Like I can get how someone can like Tangled a million times over say, like, Hercules or something. But still, you know?
Makes me feel old. And it makes me just want a partner who is literally around my age so I don't have to, like, put myself in the headspace of someone younger than my generation. I don't want that. I want to be with someone who grew up at the same time I was growing up so I can share these experiences with. Ah well.

At least we got IRL Lilo from this.
