More general discussion really, I always pictured her voice as more silly/fun-wine-mom before I watched the series, then when I did watch it she sounded like a sassy black woman.

I mean that's also good, though her being a vampire could mean she'd keep spare husbands in storage. Like some kind of magical sarcophagus thing or some equivalent that can just put someone into suspended animation, which she uses whenever she finds a guy she really likes during a current marriage, and then defrosts them when she's single again.
