Understandable, in the comic she's much eviler. I always suspect the new henchman/love interest of cedric was the evil half of elyon they cut out to make her more innocent in the show. Miranda, as she did a lot of stuff that felt like early evil elyon would do. I think best version of elyon is a mix of both as it makes her kind of a jealous schizo. As both versions would mesh fairly well togehter, some lil redhead bitch comes into your town steals your friends, your crush and gets magic powers and makes a team with your friends then treats you like a after thought yeah I'd crash out too. The author regretted it at one point and goes into softer angle. I think the (Elyon) rape scenes are still there but they are insta bad ends now? don't remember, it happened several years ago.

Porn gam development in general is fascinating to me, because while you often get the usual jank like with other early alpha style games, like feature creep and such, they also occupy this weird niche, where they can some times get weirdly experimental, have surprisingly good writing, and funny and interesting workarounds for platforms not allowing certain fetish types like incest, and it's one of the only genres where the story itself is feature creeped due the their nature.
The fact that there's no real rulebook written on how to make one, unlike more commercial game types, leads to a surprising amount of diversity between games.
Playing an RPG maker game, and getting a genuinely good and some times challenging rpg if you play the pure route, is always a treat.
Same with seeing people try and translate certain games like Resident Evil into RPG maker or similar engines, or seeing a game where the passion was clearly more on the game aspect, and the porn sort of became secondary to the whole thing, is also fun.

1. The three people behind it from the start were Elisabetta Gnone, Barbara Canepa, and Allessandro Barbucci. All three were gone by issue 3 of the comic, I believe. None of them had any involvement with the cartoon at all.
The only one who did is that the "fourth" guy, Francisco Artibani, who had to take over as main plotter of the comic when the original trio was removed(he was originally just a co-writer with Gnone).
2. Even Artibani was just a consultant, and did not work on the show. He did leave the W.I.T.C.H. comic, but he did so before the cartoon was even released to work on Winx Club, being one of the main creatives behind it.
3. The Downfall of W.I.T.C.H. came with New Power, which was when Augusto Machetto took over after Teresa Radice as main creative, none of them had anything to do with the cartoon nor were they part of the original three.
New Power did come out in 2007 though, roughly when the show stopped airing, that much is true.

This is very true also heard US is up there with stds and teenage pregnancies because of this.
