Yeah, all the time. I even drew my own comics when I was 10 or so. A lot of it was pretty derivative but I managed to write like 5 issues before my teacher stole my note book for drawing in math class.

I do it all the time when concepts come to me, just to pass the time.
Will type them into a word document and maybe go back to them sometimes to refine the concept.

Yeah. Dozens of times. Hell I've got a dozen Worm OCs right now. Though most have powers based off DC/Marvel/etc characters.

when I was in elementary school I conceived of a superhero called “Firey Fist o’ Pain” (name taken directly from the SpongeBob episode) who had giant metal fists like Vi from League of Legends (the game didn’t exist yet, just using as example) except I based the hair and facial features more off of Vegeta from DBZ. I would draw pictures of this character all the time (I was always considered “good at drawing for my age” but never developed the skill) and had a whole headcanon lore that I totally forgot atp because I haven’t thought about him since over a decade and a half ago. But I remember there was some lore where he was an orphan and his dad turned out to be a villain who was a vampire from outer space. and he’s originally a villain but changes sides to fight the metarex because they’re threatening earth.
it’s all so fuzzy and I barely remember it so it probably doesn’t make much sense. but I spent hours a day building this headcanon at one point.

If you're autistic like me and don't mind a game that's mostly text based then Comic Book Hero: The Greatest Cape is pretty fun.
Though I probably only like it because I've been playing his other game, TEW, since I was like 12.

I'd just be happy with more superpower/power-playground games regardless. It pretty much only lasted those 5 years of 2009-2014, with a few stragglers on the outsides like Crackdown and what not. Jump forward 10 years, and now the only games that let you climb buildings n' shit is just Spider-Man. It's maddening

The current climate feels weird because capes are everywhere but I'm not sure how many people are actual superhero fans, like of the genre and concept itself like there are mech fans

As a kid I'd make an sell comics to my family for a quarter. Of those comics I had Dr. Paradox, named Travis Thyme who was a doctor that accidentally discovered time travel. Surprisingly I had never seen doctor who, I just liked Back to the Future and Booster gold. The plots were not very good, but basically he'd accidentally create his own villains when hed time travel to stop bad events. I also had Sparrow who was my awful Robin/Nightwing OC, my friends had two OC's that we'd make comics of and share the stories we'd made up. Theirs were Blue Jay and the Shadow, a Nightwing expy whos mom was a supervillain and a martial artist who got powers that turned him into a living shadow. I don't think we ever came up with a team name but we had a lot of Sparrow, Blue Jay, Shadow team ups.
