I think the revival makes a lot more sense if you imagine only Bobby and GH’s generation’s birthdates were moved forward and not the adult characters. It makes a lot more sense for Hank and Peggy to be retiring in their mid 60s than their early 50s.

Bobby was 12 or 13 when GH was born. Then 15 years passed and now Bobby is 21 and GH 15.

Junichiro literally makes no sense being any other age due to his backstory. And it's Cotton, you don't think he could still have knocked Didi up in his 90s? Oldest dad on record is 94.

Closer to 50 I think given Hank and Peggy were originally supposed to have been born in the mid 50s and Bobby is 21. A tougher sell but not impossible, oldest mother on record is 65.

No matter how I try to look at it, yeah the timeline isn't perfect.
It's supposed to be 8 years after the OG show ended, but for that to be the case, Bobby would have had to have been 13 when it ended, and GH would have had to have been 7. What season was GH born in? Season 4? That would have been 1999-2000.
Again a few of these numbers don't add up unless I'm missing something.
