the whole point of his JLU character, in my opinion, is that he has a slight edge where he’s willing to do things other heroes won’t do because the other heroes are too normalfag and circumspect.
for example, trying to kill Luthor based on a hunch that a prophecy is unfolding is some tweaker shit that nobody in their right mind would be willing to do.
this NEEDS to be the character of a Question TV show, because it would drive the entire plot. the supporting characters are constantly trying to hold the Question back from acting on his schizo hunches and theories, and there would be a constant push and pull, eb and flow, between who’s right and who’s wrong in every episode.
there was a great TV show once that was called “the X-files”, and it worked exactly like this. except in a superhero universe there’s way more opportunities for the protagonist to be proven right during an investigation, and way higher stakes could develop since the Question is a vigilante acting outside the law. additionally, the world itself would be more self-consistent, rather than being an X-files anthology where the cases have no consistent pattern whatsoever. the overarching theme would be learning to trust your guts and your instincts, even when it goes against the grain. it would be a beautiful show. a true masterpiece. sit with that.
