For one they didn't set themselves up by mixing up genres that don't work well together

It's a shame that this film was a huge downgrade compared with the two previous PDI efforts, Antz and the prior Shrek. PDI never recovered from that, with the sole exception of the first Madagascar.

Shrek 2 was the first mainstream CGI movie to be completely uninspired. Say what you will about Shark Tale or Robots or Chicken Little, but they aren't uninspired movies.

The only people who care about shitty movies about anthro animals are furries who should be killed. They are lucky the mods are so shitty that they allow their beastiality threads about these shitty characters.

And Bad Guys and Zootopia are both shit as they are the same thing, look at these corrupt crooked characters they are the heroes. Realistically speaking they would rot in prison for MANY years of their lives. The whole Bad Guys only went to prison for one year despite an extended career of being criminals is bad writing even fiction. You don't do one measly year in prison for that many years of committing crimes. Fuck these morally bankrupt movies.

I suspect that to a lesser degree this is why Bad Guys is not that popular. No parent actually wants criminals as heroes for children. Though it doesn't explain the success of Zootopia as its the same shit. Judy is a corrupt cop and Nick is a con artist who also becomes another corrupt cop.
