I can't pick a favorite but I'd say the Boss's wife episode is the worst one for me. I didn't really care for the alien episode at its premier but I've grown to like it over time, I can't say the same about the Boss's wife. Jokes don't land, pacing feels off, etc. It's a shame that this was the episode they got Doug to cameo for. The soulless husk of Mr. Boss is gold though.

Worst is hard because aside from the Gwimbly episode all of season 2 was pretty bad. (Such a shame cuz Season 1 was so consistently great) Halloween one takes the cake I think, though.

filled with padding, all of the jokes were extremely predictable, and generally just has a weak premise that feels disconnected from the rest of the show

I've seen the whole series and 9 times out of 10, characters smiling through external factors and the two are just along for the ride.

episode three if they didn't try to rehabilitate Mr. Frog he wouldn't have gone to the studio and ate that guy.
Episode 4 Pim saved the halloween party.
Episode 5 there wasn't a client but they still found the killer so who cares.
Episode 6, they killed the princess's stalker.
Episode 7 didn't have a client, but Mr. Boss was proven to be really good at making people smile
Episode 8, Charlie did make the Devil smile by reminding him why he loves his job.

Pliot: Charlie had completely written of Desmond and only brought him to the office to get some paperwork signed
Episode 2: Pim brought the wrong girl to Shrimp. Charlie even calls him out on it.
Episode 3: All their attempts to "help" Mr. Frog only got him into more trouble. Mr. Frog kills the producer of his own accord.
Episode 4: Pim almost gets everone killed by leading the monster to them
Episode 5: They make the mascots think they're innocent and they start rioting in the streets
Episode 6: Mip's death is unintentional. Plus the princess saves herself by throwing the bomb out the window.
Episode 7: That's all Mr. Boss' and the Renaissance Men's doing. Pim and Charlie were just along for the ride
Episode 8: Ok. I'll give you that one.

Can you imagine any scenario in which Linkara is reached out to, talked to, pitched a cameo, given lines, and complies without completely derailing the whole thing. No matter what they pitch to him he'll think its a joke that's at his expense in a manner and to a degree he resents and has a huge problem with, and he's such an egomaniac he'll think being offered a cameo makes him co writer of the whole episode and he'll start trying to force his own ideas for it into the script, including expanding it into basically being the whole episode.

Linkara is just about the most difficult non-lazy person to work with possible outside of like, dangerous criminals

Pilot is still the best episode.
Rotten the Snowman is the worst. Not just annoying, but a total waste of Dana Snyder who's a hilarious guy. When I can look up clips of Dana talking about random shit and it's so much funnier than this show, it really makes me ask "why did they even bother making this?"

The pilot's great, but I feel like it also overshadows that first Mr Frog episode. I rewatched it for the first time in a while and didn't realize just how solid Zach & Michael's attempt at trying to flesh out this silly concept to a full-length series turned out to be.
