finished reading Blood Hunt. Iโ€™m not normally a marvel guy, but Iโ€™ve been looking for good Blade comics and this somewhat delivered what I wanted.
Iโ€™m glad they turned Varnae into an interesting villain, in the 1994 series he was nothing but a boring distraction.
has anyone read One World Under Doom? Iโ€™m also interested to learn more about Moon Knight after this arc. Does Moon Knight typically hunt vampires?

Mighty Thor #334. I picked it up for the cover a month or so back. Story was halfway though an arc about Donald Blake being accused of killing Jane Foster after she fused with Sif. Nothing special, but it kinda tickled my nostalgia for the Lee/Kirby era.

he isnโ€™t really as powerful as other villains.
he was only able to grow his army circumstantially because Batman wasnโ€™t paying attention soon enough.
meanwhile recurring people like Freeze, Joker, Scarecrow, Ivy all have sci-fi government-grade chemical and biological weapons up their sleeve that they can deploy against Batman at any time.

I've seen one episode. It was okay. I like the premise and I'm a big fan of Murata's art style, so I thought I'd give the comic a chance. I have to say I'm really enjoying it. Some of the art is unbelieveable, and I love how Murata uses depth-of-focus effects and other cinematic gimmicks.

DC has a line called compact comics. Basically they're really small and on low quality paper but they're alsp only $10.

Found a comic version of A Scanner Darkly in a roadside library, which I didn't know existed, so that I guess. Looks like just a bunch of screenshots from the movie.

Barbarian. I'm about halfway through, Barry Windsor-Smith's art is really picking up, the Elric issues were tits.
I want to buy all of these Titan Omnis but it'll take awhile, I want to get into Savage Sword as well but they are more expensive and also there are fucking eleven of them.

Savage Sword is really good too. I've been reading Roy Thoma's Barbarian life where he talks about how they went about getting the book made in the first place. Really interesting process. Thomas actually took a pay hit so they could afford the rights to Conan (over that hack Lin Carter's Kull knock off)

Thongor of Lemuria. Back during the 60s Carter and L Sprague De Camp basically made their name by editing Robert E Howard's Conan stories. It blew. And whatever they didn't "edit" they ripped off whole sale. During the early development days of Conan the comic at marvel, Stan Lee was pushing for them to get Thongor because he liked the name and it would have been cheaper.

I have to agree with that sentiment. For some weird reason, I like Belasco, but the whole Limbo-Inferno thing could often feel like a drag.

Today I read The Dark Prince Charming. I read it years ago without much thought and it is so much better than I remembered.

If I may blogpost, other things I read recently:
>Beneath the trees, where nobody sees
>Warrior
>The Lost Sunday
>Medievil
