>>149805672I do appreciate how Sara didn't actually end up with anyone in the end. Going back to either Kiki or Willow would've muddied up the entire message of self-acceptance. She can always get into a relationship later, but right now she's working on building herself up, and that's a pretty strong point in its own right.
Overall, I'd say that was...decent. Which considering I came into this shit expecting the absolute worst, that's nothing short of a goddamn miracle.
I'm kinda bummed how that this sort of film is damn near impossible to recommend to most people, though. I'm glad I gave this a shot, but it's so aggressive and uncompromising in its identity as a film for the most chronically of online that 99 percent of people wouldn't even give this film a second glance, and almost rightfully so.
Then again it being as such is part of why I respect it. It was willing to be cringe and sincere and vulnerable, something that's a rarity these days. Overall, I didn't regret watching it. I kinda feel like how Problematic Ship felt at the end, funny enough.
