King of the Hill
Is the new series better off avoiding Luanne altogether?

permanently retiring character was by far the most respectful thing they could do
with ones like dale and redcorn, they couldn't have anticipated that

Hope Luanne is in the new series but show her in a stressed tired state of always exhausted since she has a family to provide for and she married a bum. I don't want Luanne to divorce Lucky or that she somehow wins at life. I want her to be shown always struggling and dealing with her vices and merely barely hanging on like Bill. That's the best grounded way to present Luanne's return to King of the Hill. That she's working and living life but its tiresome for her given her situation with a bum husband and a daughter.

Bonus if they show Luanne's daughter not respect Luanne because she's a goddamn idiot. And show Luanne's daughter majorly resent Lucky being her father.

the right thing to do was to come up with a really funny and sad and still funny way for them to have died offscreen, and have Hank and Peggy raise an adorable 5-6 year old Gracie while a graduating-age Bobby sorta.. has trouble finding work, and Hank has to admit there's nothing for him in Arlen.
but that would require the revival to have a brain, so..

There's a small cameo in the episode where Bobby's girlfriend shits on a desk. They're also probably do something with them for season 2 which will probably air early next year maybe late this year. Which isn't really a season 2 just the second half of season 1.

They were the only dead cast memebers at the beginning of the production for this so whatever memorial they had planned for them was the 9nly one they had planned ahead and is probably more elaborate than the ones for.Johnny Hardwick and Johnathan Joss which caught them off gaurd.

I saw the episode where Hank and the gang go to the George W. Bush Library and those faggots say Bobby is racist
It's not egregiously bad to be honest, it's still sort of like KOTH, but I thought they were building up to the black "Japanese" guy getting chewed out and that didn't really happen. Classic KOTH would have brought more attention to how silly it is that he’s acting like he's the arbitor of Jap-ness when he's from French Guiana and was just adopted by Japanese parents, ditto the Eurofag guys. Maybe they did, my dad was watching it and I was only half paying attention
I thought Hank mistaking Jeff Epstein for Juan Epstein was funny though

Probably not possible since she was a pivotal character in the original run and it would be weird if no one especially Hank, Peggy, or Bobby mentioned someone they as on almost a daily basis for so long. If they don’t recast her and Lucky then they will just mention they moved somewhere maybe Montana to be close to the rest of Peggy’s family. They might have Gracie show up if they don’t have them.

I would have loved to see more of Luan, Lucky and their ugly baby. It would be nice to see if Luan finally got a good stable career. Maybe Lucky could be a stay-at-home dad or something. It would have been cool. I hate this dumb rule about retiring characters just because the voice actor dies.

Spoiler for the recently released KOTH season. I really want to see more of John Redcorn. I would love to see him and Joseph bond, but in a sneaky way where Joseph never finds out John Red Corn is his genetic dad. Stealth bonding over horses would have been so brilliant.

Rest In Peace, Jonathan Joss. He was a good man who died in a hate crime incident. It's a real shame that people are so hateful and political that we could never have a decent thread to pay our respects. The misinformation and contortion of truth that happened here and elsewhere just because he was gay was a real shame.

Just in case anyone wants to start any of that up, I will not respond to any negative takes on Jonathan Joss. Most of it is either untrue or a crazy contortion of reality. And I would thank any Anon here to ignore any nonsense people may bring up.

Rest In Peace, Jonathan Joss. You were a good man who deserved to be remembered for the good person/entertainer you were and not the vile and fake memes jerks made up about you.

I don't even know how old she would be in it.

Bobby, Joseph, and Connie aged 8 years
Good Hank is like 15
All the adults are all past retirement but were 41-43 or so before the time skip. Now they all have to be mid-late 60s. Redcorn does not look to be 48.

What would Luanne and Lucky be?
