I played Kill la Kill IF today, from what I can tell, it shouldn't confer any sort of stat upgrade to the characters, but it gives Life Fiber characters and the Rending Scissors some time-space shenanigans.
So maybe you could argue for some resistance to Chaos Control and potentially the ability to hurt Super forms, but Ryuko still ends up with much lower stats, especially now that Death Battle buys multi-universal/multiversal Gamenic.

I actually thought the animation for Anon vs. Janny was good. I know a lot of people had problems with it, but I thought it was great.

Even if you disagree about Janny losing, given the power gap between the two it makes sense for Anon to take little damage. It also put Anon in some kind of a mentor or elder role to Janny, and let Anon show how far he had come by defeating someone who had been down the same path as him. He wasn't just fighting Janny, he was TEACHING Janny. And I think that's very heartwarming in a way. That Anon would take the lessons he learned and help someone who was just like him.

If this weren't a Death Battle thread I'm sure they would have ended cordially and taught each other well. The alternate ending is weird, even if heartwarming in its own way. It was nice to see Anon reunite with his family, but it feels weird to have him just stand there and take that ban.

I haven't paid Janny's wage though (but after watching this fight I think I might watch a sponsored ad!) so I might be missing stuff but as a big 4channel fan I thought they did Anon justice and from what I saw they treated Janny with the utmost respect. Technically Heroes is concluded rather than dead and it is continued with Divers (which is bizarrely still alive even though so many people were angry about it). Shueisha is actually continuing the Dragon Ball SD manga (basically a parodic retelling of Dragon Ball and Z with chibi).

Now that both trailers are out, time for a (hopefully) unbiased analysis of Godzilla vs Hulk.
I’m just going to get this out of the way, but any typical stats (Strength, Speed, Durability, Resistance, and Endurance,etc.) are going to be even more useless than in Kyle v Simon. And unlike Kyle v Simon, it doesn’t seem like they’re giga-lowballing anybody since they pulled out the First Firmament Chains in the trailer.

I’m going balls to the walls with this one, so each will be given their highest reasonable and perhaps unreasonable interpretation.

Power, Hax, Cosmological Scale, & Win-Cons:

Godzilla’s absolute strongest appearances (from what I know) are Godzilla in Hell and Ultima’s IT form. Each of these forms are beyond Space, Time, Dimensionality, and lay within the realm of Concepts and Theoretical Quantum Physics.

With Godzilla in Hell specifically, if we give him his most charitable interpretation he’d vastly empower himself several times over in a realm transcending the IDW Cosmology(I’m not fucking getting into it) to beat challenges that were “impossible” for him to beat several times over almost like a big ol’ Simon Lizard. Though this is entirely dependent on fucking Twitter DM and IDW Megaverse scaling so DB is most certainly using probably Ultima as Goji’s most powerful state.

Speaking of, Ultima IT is a being that is casually above any and all dimensions and typical laws of reality, making avatars and imbuing them with essentially anything he likes, such as Resurrection, Law Manipulation, Probability Manipulation, Molecular Manipulation, to an absurd degree to make them practically unbeatable unless they solve a very specific formula and process. Though IT is technically quantifiable, it’s safe to say that since he can be affected by any sort of equation, IT seemingly lies within the realm of conceptual beings and abstracts.

In the TRAILER, a base-form Hulk broke these chains by being pissed enough. Hulk can also far, far surpass this level of power by tapping into/being relative to The One Below All, a being that transcends(or I guess in this case below) The House of Ideas, a place where The One Above All resides and all concepts are forged from.

The only way Hulk ever loses this is if Death Battle does some downright retarded and disingenuous downplay. So the battle’s a coin toss, might as well enjoy the cool fight and hope Devil Artemis brings his A-Game this time.

Well NTA but writers typically don't need to care that much about a character being super strong in a single story. They are as strong or as weak as the story demands and if you can keep your frame of reference focused to just the story it works out.
Suspension of disbelief snaps the wider your lens becomes, because characters being as strong as they need to be in the moment starts contradicting a moment where they needed to be weak.
