I don't get Scott Pilgrim because it has always been kind of shitty and the film was beloved and really pushed the manic pixie dream girl. But then a wave of people started claiming it was deep because it was criticising some of the behaviour but I never felt like it really ever was criticising any of the behaviour to any actual real degree.
