Even if Egypt's history didn't record the exodus, other cultures & countries would have. There'd be mentions of thousands of Jews wandering around, Egypt looking for more slaves/workers, accounts of Egypt's enemies taking advantage of the situation, and so on. It's all fiction. Sorry.
