What is there to ruin? These characters are genuinely shit since episode one. With such unlikable main characters the real miracle is how this show managed to last as long as it has. Even Family Guy took a while before rendering every main character are trash. Rick and Morty did since the first season.

This show has always been garbage and may its creator and staff all suffer in life.

summer decides to prank morty and catfish him, it goes wrong the moment she finds herself vibing and actually liking morty to the point she even makes a body of the girl in question and puppet it to pass it off, essentially forcing herself into a double life where she is having a comfy relationship with her brother while trying to live her life as summer.
eithers way morty inevitably finds out and has to make a choice between confronting summer or just live that lie by mindblowing himself.

The part that I cant grasp is that Season 6 was absolutely hilarious. Why, what happened? Season 5 and 7 were awful but somehow the third best season got sandwiched in?

Meh, that one I'm iffy on. Rick and Morty doesn't really do full-blown musical numbers as much as Bob's Burgers does. Don't even think we've had a main character sing one since Get Schwifty (not counting the one from Fear No Mort, that was way too short.)
