This movie is considered a failure by Disney Renaissance standards. Less than a hundred mil in he domestic box office. And in general its such a shitty bastardization of Greek Mythology all for the sake of Disney's shitty sanitized family friendly shit.

And I'm really tired of Hades being depicted as an evil villain. Zeus is the most evil of gods of Greek Mythology followed by Hera. Its amazing how even other bastardizations like God of War understood that Zeus and Hera are both the big evil cunts of Greek Mythology. And while God of War is a bastardization of Greek Mythology its still better than Disney's shit.

I still hate Hercules forgiving some selfish bitch who betrayed him. That makes him a lame simp.

It's because they keep getting unfit people to be Hercules. Anyone remember that shitty The Rock Hercules movie? Shit it should be easy to do a movie about the labors of Hercules. But they always fuck it up.

Think the only moderate decent representations of Greek Mythology in cinema are Clash of the Titans with Perseus and the Odyssey. The other myths are always blatantly incorrect. Shame really wanted to see a good take on the Minotaur myth because the fight in the labyrinth could be cool.

Even better when you remember that the ending of Hercules' story is that a stupid woman kills him and he gets blessed with actual godhood and since his marriage to said stupid woman is ended with death, he marries a new better babe among the gods.
