Fantastic Four has zero masculinity in it. Of course it failed. Men don't want to be Reed Richards or Johnny Storm or Ben Grimm because none of those figures were larger than life, charismatic, got attractive women interested in them or used their powers in a fun and interesting way. The superhero genre is male power fantasy. The MCU keeps trying to actively turn that into girl fantasy first and foremost. And that just doesn't work. It's never worked.

The fact that they are filming without a script is astonishing to me.

How do you film without a script?

Deadpool is the only good movies the DCU has left. I’d be shocked if they didn’t try to put him into the next, big teamup.

Shoot jokey monologues, or platitudes between characters (shot / reverse shot), fix it in post so they are talking to the assigned characters once a settled script is in place. Then insert characters talking about the plot. Rext is fx.

>FF flops
>"uh yeah, uh, that was taken out of context and uh"
>it keeps flopping
>"no no, it's a supporting role, the leads are RDJ and Hemsworth and uh... Cyclops and uh..."
>it keeps getting worse somehow
>"yeah uh, Pedro Pascal has finished filming, get h-get him out of here GET HIM THE HELL OUT OF HERE THROW HIM OUT IN THE COLD DON'T-DON'T GIVE HIM HIS JACKET!"
>...
>"DEADPOOL'S HERE!"
Wew! I'm guessing the FF sequel is a top priority, with even more Pedro Pascal and Girlbossing!

It would be tragic, but necessary.

Like the Marvel Rivals thing, Feige and co need strong wake up calls to realize their idea of good, or their idea of what people should think is good, is not defacto.
Reynold's Deadpool isn't without its own slips to be clear, but he has more cred as a creator with critical thought from the fact he outspokenly wrestled the character from Fox's incompetence to begin with. Kevin was handed the Marvel Universe and has squandered a lot of that solely from the belief the major successes are sufficient.

There was no reason, none whatsoever to have not made the FF movie a nonstop sci-fi adventure.

The actress who plays og Mystique said she doesn't know if she has finished filming her part because the script wasn't finished yet.

You have your jeets animate an hour of action scenes then fill in the rest with boring shots of dumbasses in costumes talking to poorly attempt to make a story after the fact. Look at black widow, that’s how Fiege makes movies now

>Feige: Deadpool 4 isn’t a priority right now. We need to shit out two Avengers films with the worst casting choice of all time for our villain Doctor Doom, and then work on our Eternals sequel and X-Men reboot that’s gonna be woke and suck balls and just make people look back fondly on the Fox films.
>Mickey Mouse: Fuck you. Greenlight Deadpool 4 NOW.
>Feige: O- ok.

The actors are told what needs to happen in the scene so the outline says:

SHIELD LAB DAY 1-2 minute scene
Reed, SmartHulk and Ironheart and any other 'science' characters discuss scientific options to fix the multiverseal incursion. Reed mentions that he teleported his Earth, SmartHulk says how they used time travel to beat Thanos and Ironheart compares them to incels using cheat codes on a video game. This inspires them to use the [unnamed Mcguffin device].

The actors just improvise their dialog from there as long as the scene accomplished what it's supposed to do. It's basically how Christopher Guest makes all of his Spinal Tap type films and in a weird way it's not unlike the classic 'Marvel Method' of doing comics.
