In my humble opinion?
Not enough action and the ending was a bit eh? Idk how to explain it.
The first half with the space opera part was excellent and the chase with Silver Surfer was awesome. But yeah, once they get to earth the pace slows down. I liked Johnny guilt tripping femsurfer. But the final fight was pretty underwhelming.
Other than that? I think it's a neat film to see with the whole family.

I mean everything went wrong. Other than the costumes. Those are dope. But ffs the casting is awful, the creative decisions were awful, setting it in a separate universe was retarded. Just dumb all around. But particularly the casting. Reed and Sue are ugly and old and don’t even fit the characters.

I agree that Pascal as Reeds was a dumb decision, but I don't think that fact alone is enough of a reason to make people not want to watch the movie in that scale.

They keep trying to push the Fantastic 4 which is understandable since they're Marvel's original family, but nobody really gives a shit about them. Marvel seems to understand that Dr Doom is a bigger deal than Fantastic 4 and are trying to set him up as the next Thanos / Loki but they already fucked that up by casting Robert Downey Jr. Another case where "they just picked the biggest popular actor they could find for the role rather than the one that fit the character".

Dr Doom as a character is already ruined because when people look at RDJ they will just see Tony Stark unless they fake us out and replace the actor with someone else. They should have picked a new actor and then have Dr Doom showing up multiple times throughout the MCU like Loki.
