My local library has this beast of a book. Is it good? I've never read X-Men comics and I want to give them a chance.

It's... not bad. The story is just Claremont going apeshit which means there are plenty of t&a shots and you'll need to skip every other sentence to not get brain rot. Art ranges from mediocre to 80s style good (Mark Silvestri is great in it, but whoever drew the X-Factor parts was crap). The tie ins are not that interesting but you get to see New York turn into a demon infested city with mailboxes eating mailmen, so it has some funny moments.
