It most likely won't. The contrast with the Infinity Wars/Endgame combo is ridiculous: instead of basing the appeal of the crossover movies in patience and disciplined buildup to a crowd-pleasing finish, they're literally betting everything on people wanting to see RDJ again in a role that for all intents and purposes will be introduced IN those movies.

This movie is genuinely gonna be a major flop
a bunch of characters nobody gives a shit about from movies and shows that bombed and geriatric X-men all of this with zero build up
its probably already over half a billion just from paying the cast especially RDJ alone
no way is it making its money back
