This art has a background and context for why the character is doing what she's doing. It grounds the character in a world and tells a story, even if that story is as simple as "she's hot, so she's sweating in front of a fan". This is more creative than most of the shit Twitter artists pump out.

I've got some art friends who are sharing that mentality. When they first started doing NSFW stuff they were happy about the following and attention they got from it. Several years later? They're really getting bored of it, I'm guessing you can only draw characters getting fucked for so long and most of your comments being GOD I WISH THAT WAS ME before you get numb.

Some of them are doing it just for the income but really do wanna move onto some SFW stuff. They're having some conflict cause they know their gooner audience won't even look at SFW stuff. It's kind of the curse that such a thing can bring nowadays unless you're a Japanese manga artist.

I don't get how manga artists can make the jump from nsfw to sfw frequently and their followings never lose steam or actively support them. Just feels like everyone else is either stuck with a big but unchallenging following in NSFW or dying in obscurity as SFW.
