Since OP didn't explain: a shit ton more cards for previewed today. Some are simpler/lower power level as they're part of a beginner box for new players.

It's a pride thing. Many people in the American entertainment industry really believe, hand on the Bible, that Atla is American superior response to Naruto, that it's flawless and loved universally. They refuse to admit it sold no toys and had no foreign existance, so they keep shitting those sequels and collabs thinking it's, as you said, as strong as Final Fantasy.

Apparently that little water tribe village where Sokka and Katara are from is called Wolf Cove. I did not know that.

This also implies the existence of regular wolves, not like, bear-wolves or duck-wolves or something. Well that was a point in the series before they went all in on that joke I guess.

I do generally like the art in this set. Can't say the same for the rest of the infinite crossovers. Most of the time they lean too hard into the MTG house style. These seem like a solid middle ground though.

That's just how this shit goes. They release something overpowered, then they back off for a couple of sets. The trajectory of power creep is ever-upward.

That said, I do love me playing limited block constructed digitally and for free over Cockatrice with low to moderate powered sets. That's MTG at it's purest, if you ask me.
