>I dont understand why cartoon network has been on a nose dive since like 2015.
Theres like a boat load of reasons but I can summarize it in a list.
Execs making dumb decisions with CN Real. Probably to compete with disney but the reason could still be unknown
Horrendous management with their shows. Almost all of the shows they had were killed off due to bad scheduling.
Barely anyone in the animation industry could ever come close to guys like Anotoncui, Craig McCracken, and Gennedy. Not just in skill but in passion for the medium, they weren't just picked by connection.
California. I don't know what's wrong with that state, man, but anything coming out of that place has been nothing but dreck.
CalArts. I don't know what's up with that school, but that place sucks hot ass. That place impedes creativity and unique ideas. Not only that, but getting a job as an art student is just financial suicide. Nowadays, degrees don't mean shit anymore and knowing somebody who knows another guy is like your ticket in the industry now.
Nepotism and connections. There's a video from a guy named EZ PZ about a blacklisted animator revealing some accusations on the industry as a whole. While they were accusations at the time it makes WAY more sense now in retrospect
Mighty Magiswords creator caught with TB of child porn
Steven Bombs was only a thing to hide the abysmal ratings of the show. Cause any other show would've been cancelled, which is weird, why Rebecca had this kind of opportunity but no one else.
Most people who worked on CN were only hired because their friends with the shows creator.
Criticsing Thundercats roar would get you blacklisted
Unprofessional behavior in the workplace
OKKO creator hiring a dude who does pornography to work on a kids show? (WTF?)
