is the Legion of Super-Heroes something you would like to see in James Gunn's universe?

Gunn says he hates time travel so we hopefully won't see them. Shame about the Reverse Flash though.

Considering the dude appears to possess basic competence, sure.

Seriously, I will never understand how DC keeps fumbling with the Legion of Super-Heroes. They're teen/young adult superheroes in space. They debuted eight years before Star Trek. There is NO excuse.

not only that they have all the homoqueer stuff modern readers want, but in a natural way because they're aliens and muh progressive future.

it would be so easy to make them marketable, they just need a good new animated series.

It's not likely in his plans for the first 5/10 things they sketched out, especially since the version of Kara we're getting is King's shitty Super Woman of Tomorrow adaptation. It's also pretty obvious that in his DCU, we never had a Clark Kent as Superboy which is another key thing necessary for the Legion.

Yeah a more simplified animated series than what we got that's probably more adult oriented while still be family friendly versus being designed for kids from the start is what we need but the only way we get it from Gunn is if folks pitch it to him and find a way to do it in a budget friendly way.

Someone should do an adaptation treatment of the time that Kon was in the future and pitch that but with a simplified cast.

Smallville made them seem like cool characters.

Legion is and always has been a niche feature with a small, but very loud, fanbase. Not enough to support a film on their own.

Besides, Hollywood would just fuck them up.

Optimistic futures are dead, its why losh can never succeed again and x men do bad future plots every 2 years.
