Itβs just about popularity. Marvel would retcon Peter Parker being the one who murdered Uncle Ben if they found out that would 100% sell them one billion copies.

No one gives a shit about comics, especially since Fortnite and other IP melting pots exist. Their only hope is an actual crossover movie. Which they'll probably do long after anyone stops giving a fuck about capeshit movies.

if Superman Man of Tomorrow and Krypton did nothing to make Lobo more popular with normies, even Mamoa, especially now that he's fat, won't either. Since he made such a big deal about shaving for Dune III, and Supergirl has allegedly essentially already finished all it's main photography, that means you are likely getting a fucking bearded Lobo.
Ambush Bug is a fucking nobody. Lobo was the irrationally prominent anti-hero of DC in the 90s just like how Deadpool went on to become the irrationally prominent anti-hero of Marvel in the 2000s.

Deadpool has been shit ever since they tried to make him much more heroic and emo instead of just having little moments of true heroism and underlying emoness, here's the crossover you actually want and it exists

Cuz Lobo is old fashioned, corny, doesnt have a timeless look(like beavis and butthead trying to stay cool but fails cuz its a product of its time), Deadpool translates his humor and theme more organically to the new gen and millennials thanks to the internet and alot of 4th wall breaking(like south park being the prominent edgy humor show over every body because it has a more iconic look)

Millennials are 35-45 bro, I think you mean zoomers. I was born in 1989, as "prime" middle millennial as you can get, I had Lobo comics growing up and we didn't have a hateboner for rock/metal music like his design is based on, like zoomers do since they only like black crap
I mean this was a cartoon we watched as kids, we thought bikers were cool too
I stand corrected then, still doesnt change anything. Grampa kiss member who tries too hard to be cool and funny is not in anymore, there's a reason hes sometimes in supermans rouges gallery, he needs a push as his stick is a old time fossil for newbies and comes off as antagonistic.

Eh disagree, if anything he's cooler now that rock music is truly underground and counter culture again, he was kinda cheesier back then when literally everyone new the biggest rock bands.
Regardless, I don't really care for Lobo or Deadpool anymore, I did as a kid but they're both a bit try hard. Venom's my edgy arguably humorous boy (before all comics became shit at least)

If DC left like it, they could make an Ambush Bug and Lobo story that spoofs the stupid number of Deadpool/Wolverine teamup stories Marvel is doing. And a joke about both being the children of Giffen.
