I found it to be a sincerely enjoyable show, even after rewatching it for the third time. Pacing gets a bit off after Cheng is beaten, but I think it's one of those things you can pin on Netflix being hard to predict on whether they'll really commit to your animated project. I think if they had been promised a second season up-front, the pacing of the final three episodes would've been a lot more normal.

it's Jentry Chau vs the Underworld. it dropped late last year. it got a small amount of buzz but wasn't the biggest animated thing on Netflix that year. i'd still recommend it, the animation is good, the music is pretty decent, and the overall story is entertaining even if the end was more rushed than I'd like.

Yeah. I don't know if it could go three seasons without some shifts in characters, but it seems that's what they hope to do considering Michael's visions.

I'm guessing it would be like a smaller-scale version of how 'Miraculous Ladybug' has plans for multiple spinoffs set in the same universe.

The character of Jentry is fine. The show is a 8 out of 10, the only gripe I had with it is how some of the stuff we see comes off as contrived.

Really weird thing to get upset about I'm aware, but unless you're some kind of troglodyte that actually enjoys the godawful music it's really jarring and makes a lot of the action just not hit the way it should. It's a shame, because otherwise it's not a bad show at all.
