>Reboot, Bobby's most popular item at his restauraunt is just a Vegan/Vegetarian Shish Kebob cooked on Charcoal

Of course Hank is upset. He wanted his son working and one day owning Sugarfoots which is the restaurant owned by Buck

I think you might just be confusing things. There's the episode where Hank has to deal with Bobby cooking with Japanese charcoal and there's an episodes where Bobby's new weird vegan girlfriend comes over and force feeds Hank some vegan food.

You seem to be conflating both of these things in your mind as the same thing.

So first off, she dated Chang because her parents wanted it - but like her character has always been written. However, the only way that was ever going to work is if they can see other people, since Chang is a douche. Also, it’s never stated she’s ran through by any frat, just like they’re allegedly allowed to see other people.

But again, if you even watched the show, it shows how that whole arrangement blows up in her face when she really needs it.

There’s a lot of projecting going on in your post. I think you need to attend a Manmade weekend camp.

Is not really cost or availability, since I'm just over the border where I see hole in the wall restaurant with the real ingredient and a restaurant near by with cheddar and sour cream on everything.

I do understand on availability the farther you are from the border. Living in NY for a couple of years I knew I would never find a good Mexican restaurant, but did find great Italian, Chinese and Korean food. It is a trade.

That's how it's supposed to work. Kids are wired to emulate their parents without compulsion. They think it's fun to do what mom and dad do. The problem is that some parents will get really insistent on the kid liking a certain thing. My tastes are all near-matches for my dad's tastes, with the one major exception being football because he started pushing it on me from the moment I could walk. My preschool clothes were all football themed. I was forced onto a pee-wee league team until the third grade. During football season, any other plans were put on hold until "we" watched the game. Any time I told him I didn't like football, he explained that I would learn to like it eventually. The more he pushed, the less I enjoyed it. It's always a pleasure to spend time with him over the holidays, but the second he turns on the big game, I enter the same frame of mind as doing laundry or weeding the garden. Unintentionally, he turned football into a chore for me, and it's always going to feel like a chore.
