These designs look so lame. Arc Sissies didn't even put any effort into it this time. Now that you know that a lot of talent has left the studio, you can feel it in these games that look worse than the older ones. Also, they're going to pocket the money for their franchises. They obviously pocketed the FighterZ money for Strive. People say, “It's so appealing,” but you know what? No. The GG Strive designs are appealing. This looks like they went for the first choice. Will it probably play better than MVC? It's not a high bar, MVC is a meme game.

Her original book was basically that and was decently well received and she had her own little niche the same way Moon Knight currently does, it's way more impressive how much Marvel has fucked her up if anything. She's never gonna be the next Wolverine or Iron Man and that's fine, actually Marvel needs to understand that ASAP if they wanna salvage this character, she's already failed in the MCU so drop the artificial push and dumb MCU synergy with her already

Kamala's powers are the same as Apocalypse (minus Celestial Armor) not Mr. Fantastic. The only difference between their power sets is that Kamala is weak to electricity (unless that was changed)

Undo her mutant genetics by putting her in a scenario were after saving a bunch of mutants from a deadly gas by an anti-mutant group, like Orchid, but at the price of losing her mutant genes as a result & nearly dying. But her Inhuman genes are what's keeping her alive, but is getting weaker with lack of energy & the Inhuman genes losing its power. Leading to Dr. Yesenia Rosario, from "Marvel Team-Up issue 3 (2019)" to make a return as she still has a portion of Ms Marvel's Inhuman power, which explains how Kamala died the first time as her Inhuman genes got weaker. The Doctor gave back the Inhuman gene to Kamala. Fully restoring her Inhuman gene as it restores her body, but at the cost of her Mutant genes. Making her no longer a mutant. Afterwards she leaves the X-Men & returns to be a street hero again, but modifies her X-Men outfit into a new costume by mixing her old one with it. Maybe turn it into her Twilight suit. But she's a street hero again, & slowly rebuilds herself, with her own rogues gallery, & challenges with her community, family, & future as she grows up

In general Marvel is really bad at this. A character gets mildly popular with readers and they run them into the ground fast. They don't know how to organically build a character's popularity. Kamala's original comic isn't anything amazing, but its cute and fun enough and pushing her with as many big heroes as possible is a mistake. She shouldn't have gone to New York.

We're not talking about the real world, we're talking about fiction and how to improve it. Leave those notions at the door because nobody's interested in your opinion of real life, and I don't say that to be unkind. All writers need to make heroines likeable is to make them more feminine. The Norse liked valkyries because they'd care for fallen men. Cú Chulainn learns to fight from Scathach and people liked it because she was sexy (and had an evil twin that gets corrected). Joan of Arc drove people wild because she was a cute maiden tomboy. These are all mythological women warriors and people liked them, and there's no reason you can't do that with contemporary characters.

There's no reason there cant be some artistic crossover. There are manga that incorporated western influences and tropes to great success as well as video games like Dark Souls. The comic book industry is in a ditch right now. Western artists should be looking east for inspiration. I don't mean they should try to make western manga, just that they should look at things that work over there that could work here.
