Someone said the episode would've been more natural if the episode was less about tearing down the manosphere guy and more about Hank trying to find positive, still-traditional ways to pull GH back to the good side. I feel like the start of the episode even set itself up for it, with Hank seeing the promo video talking about positive values like family and religion, but that's never touched on again. Hank should've taken GH through his own course and showed the ways that what the guy was promoting can be done right, and not just treated in a bastardized way.

But this revival really lost a sense of exploring traditionalism that far. Of course we couldn't have an episode with Hank giving GH an actual well-meaning traditional training course to get his mind off things. That's why I at least liked the car ending, but it happened way too late once the rest of the story was wasted on tearing down the strawman and Hank praising his mom for no reason. Truly a lost potential episode.

The thing that really surprises me about the posters in this thread is that they seem genuine - their feelings towards women are genuine.

Growing up, my friends and I in school would joke around and say the N word. We’d say racist jokes. My dad used the N word pretty freely. But I never had any real dislike towards black people; yeah, some of them are terrible, but there’s plenty of terrible white people out there too.
