It always pisses me off when people claim it's okay for Batman to do blatantly impossible things but not for any of the dozens of other "non-powered" characters simply because Batman is IRL older or more famous property. That's such retarded logic. It's similar to how some people only accept relationships with whoever is the "main heroine", as if fucking screen time or story importance mattered more than what the characters themselves would realistically want.

It is. I like Batman, but the Batman that succeeds because of ingenuity, skill, and willpower. This is one of many examples of him temporarily becoming Superman to fit a narrative.

This was the least annoying scene in the entire run. Half the plot was anticipating an alternate personality created as a backup plan for his own contingency. Falling from the moon was straightforward and grounded by comparison.

Batman is not human. Batman has powers.
You may not like it, but that's the intimation DC's been operating under for a while now.
