There was a thread about this on /v/ yesterday and it was mostly people saying that they were weirdly happy for Dobson and glad that he seemed to actually reflect on his actions and had used the last 5 years to improve himself. Only a handful of people were seemingly rubbing their hands together while making comments like "I can't WAIT for him to be a sperg again". If even /v/'s getting off of the Dobson hate train I think people are just genuinely moving on.

It's been a long time since we've had actually any positive stories from other artists that were internet addicted. Half of them ended up in jail the other half are basically stuck in either a halfway house or still living at home and off some sort of government hand out still parading around making the same crap. It's been a long time since we've actually had someone who developed, it just warms kind of my heart sometimes it's just nice to know that there's an end to being a big clown on the internet and you can actually move on. Dobson would be probably one of only a handful of people I can even think of that were able to get their act together somewhat. Again this is all under the assumption that this is actually him which I have some suspicions it actually is not, but time will tell I'm sure someone's going to track down every bit of little information they can from internet registries and so forth.
