What DC characters do you think would benefit from getting a Year One comic?

Literally none. There has never been a year one comic worth making that wasn’t the original. Please fuck off.

Oh hey its that POPULAR and really STRONG black magic man that has definitely been super popular and has a authentic fanbase for YEARS.

Why do you keep pushing this shizo babble in multiple threads about people pretending Mister Terrific is a popular character? Nobody is claiming this except the voices in your head.

Plastic Man, unironically

Seeing him go from smash and grab thug to jokester would be great in the right (not Cantwell) hands

Aquaman.

Nobody says he is popular.
He has however been given enough attention thanks to the Superman movie, along with the other extras, that they can at least attempt a small push with them and see if any stick.
Realistically though, Guy and Hawkgirl have far more of a chance of causing a ripple with normies than Mr T

Who is your favorite character?
What is your favorite story about them? My guess its not their "origin" story
You just have get that over with to finally get them on the fun adventures you want to actually read.

This. Mr. Terrific is MY favorite character.

he's not magic, he's basically Cyborg but not attached to the Snyderverse shit or Teen Titans. He's a techie black guy with gadget powers and a cool jacket who's mildly autistic

Cassandra Cain
The "year one" would be the first year after she escaped from her dad, where she's a delicious loli and lives on the streets.
Do it. Do it you cowards. You don't have the balls to do it.

Kind of off-topic, but I'd be interested in reading a reboot of The Mask, especially after the crappy ending of I Pledge Allegiance to The Mask. Also, it would be cool if they bring back Wlater and the Voodoo guy.

Arrowverse made him a gay dork instead of a stoic atheist.

Ralph and Sue Dibny just because they deserve more than one comic and also it could make for a nice romance story

All of them, DC's continuity is incredibly fucked up atm and needs some books to contextualize what is and isn't canon in regards to each characters' personal history

Robin: Year One was necessary, because DC had spent almost 20 years retconning him out of every major early-career Batman story.
Batman and Robin: Year One is doing the same thing again, but better.
Justice League of America: Year One was necessary because of how badly Perez fucked over the JLA origin story with his new Wonder Woman.
Besides that, I agree.

Too focused on setting up Shrike and doubling down on the retarded two-face is to dick what joker is to jason retcon.
Waid put the focus on the relationship between Batman and Robin. The villains are secondary. Way better.
