This isn't really accurate. I could understand if this was examining Jewish creators who were raised religiously like Kirby, but the general bulk of comic book Jewish creators were not raised as such. Neither were their Anglo counterparts.

I can kinda see Batman as a Satan figure but only in the context that he's the Jewish interpretation of Satan as an Angel wearing a bad guy hat. He's not really evil, he's just a divine punisher wearing scary clothes while being benevolent to those who do good.

It would track considering Batman's biggest inspiration (next to Zorro) is The Shadow. The Shadow was heavily inspired by Dracula (who has parallels with Satan and the Christian Lucifer), and The Shadow's whole role is "scary monstrous fellow who kills other monsters instead of the innocent".

Captain America...he's a bit complicated because he is VERY Jewish (Kirby described him, The Hulk, and The Thing as Golems) but the act of being a patriotic hero who wears the flag on his body does make him kinda occult/pseudo-religious. The American flag is practically a holy symbol and even has ritual associations with it.

It's worth pointing out that Superman's original intended backstory was that he was from Earth in the future and sent back in time. Astro City would use this for the Samaritan while Red Son would incorporate this for the ending.

The use of El is interesting because while the Jewish subtext is minimal (or at least misplaced: considering the Wild Man archetypes influencing Superman, he's clearly Samson + Heracles), the deeper historical-cultural meaning behind the Elohim is that they're referring to the Caananite gods who were ruled over by El.

It could also be possible that chronically online people can develop some type of dissociative disorder. Especially when you are reading/watching so much content at once.
