Takamoto was the guy that came up with the Scooby Doo character designs. They looked a lot better before the Hanna-Barbera budget knocked them for six. You can kinda see the origins of the BTAS art style in there too.

I saw it first in Mexico around 2002, and then a couple years later it showed up on Cartoon Network in Califormia. I don't know if they ever showed any Streaky episodes, they barely played any with Ace the Bathound

Takamoto is of Japanese descent but was born and raised in America, so it wasn't secret Japanese manga training or anything
Also that drawing is a forgery meant to look like Takamoto's work, based off a more modern WB artist's drawing.

I feel like this played a part in me getting into furry stuff when I got older. I used to really enjoy watching it and really liked Streaky. Same with this Rudolph movie. They both had art styles I really liked and couldn't understand why.
