It's funny how this is supposed to be a problem trans message but Rocko and friends literally don't care and only support the transition so they can get more of their favorite cartoon made. Also, we need to talk about the wiki problem, where if a character transitions in some future work they rewrite the wiki to describe the character as she/her even when talking about the old work. At least the Rocko wiki still uses he when talking about Ralph in the old episodes, but it has stuff like in this pic too. Guilty Gear is especially annoying with it, since Bridget is called a she/her even when discussing the plot about a curse involving twin boys in the old games.

I like rewatching for the visuals. How they did their best to make it look like it did back then. They even hand drew the backgrounds on paper and got the character outlines to look like they were done by traditional hand-to-pen.
It's the only "reboot/revival" I can think that properly captured the look of the original. Most others either try and fail, or just don't care.

Most irl don't care about people being trans, at most they're confused or are uncomfortable about it because they don't have any experience with it. Mr. Bighead goes through a character arc in this special because parents typically don't like it when their children transition. That's something you can write a character arc around. It's very MODERN and very true to LIFE.
