When I started using Perchance, I just copied my prompts from Dall-E, too. It’s really surprisingly how well it works on there.

I'm not the best Perchancer, but it is now based on Flux Chroma, which really leans on natural language. Write sentences and describe things. This was done with the Oil Painting - Realism style so I removed those references from this prompt. Having them embrace needs a bunch of iterations because the arms will get tangled. Alter as necessary for you.

Welp. I haven't used Bing/Dalle in some 3 weeks I think. Very sad to discover two things today:
1) they've made GPT / Sora generation the default one, so I guess they plan to phase out Dalle. I saw that GPT was introduced a while ago as an option, which didn't bode well even then, but it was the secondary option back then, now it's the default one.
2) holy fucking dog. It doesn't let me generate anything even remotely feminine / slightly sensual. Either absolutely endless dogs for some of the most innocent prompts, or it does that Wholesome Punishment where it instead generates excessively inoffensive pics that are maybe slightly related to your prompt.

Is this the end?

Yes, I rather hate GPT's drawing style and textures, and ALSO something very important that not even remotely people talk about is that GPT/Sora has a huge issue with perspective/proportions. Way way worse than Dalle. Obviously every generative AI will have awkward shit that doesn't make sense geometrically here and there, but GPT's images typically have very visibly awful perspective / geometry (which also translates to bad anatomy, limb lengths / relative positions and so on). Also, unappealing faces.

DALLE images generally follow the Rule of Thirds (photography term, look it up). They seem to have aggressively filtered for images in their training set that have good composition and lighting. All of that is gone in GPT-4o.

Yes, this too, but there's also so much more. One other thing not mentioned here yet is that they are far more crude while Dalle's ones have finer detail. Not just in resolution as such, but more so things like line width, the finer textures, and just overall the amount of "detail" in the general sense. Obviously stuff gets smoothed out for the final 1024x1024 pic (and upscaled and such), but it's still noticeable.

But really, bad geometry is my #1 gripe. Right now I don't have access to the main hard drive where I keep some good examples (currently doing an emergency recovery of a different failing external drive and this takes up my USB ports), but if you're sensitive to bad geometry, you'll see it in almost every GPT generation. Like, stuff that you'd actively shame a human artist for and tell him to git gud and fix it.

Here’s a new batch of characters. And from another Dreamworks animated franchise. This time…from the Madagascar franchise.

Let’s start with the main character himself: Alex!

Now, he may not look exactly like his lion version, hence in case…I added real lions in the background, but as far as finding the best details for him so far…he looks pretty neat.

Here’s another character of the Central Park Zoo group in human form: Marty! This one was much easier, since he does look and feel like his zebra form.

yes, but for most of her history in comics, shows, games, and movies she was white. While she had black iterations, they weren't her iconic look/didn't last long. I wish we had a proper comic/game/animated show to movie look that wasn't a mixed character. While pfeiffer was good, it didnt feel like the same character to me.

I'm biased because I really like the pixie cut catwoman from the games, shows, and comics. However, as famous as that version is, never makes it to the movies. It kind of did with Zoë but again, had to be mixed/felt like an entirely different character.
