should i remake this thread if it gets archived? but with a proper op image >>149937607
i don't understand /co/, you said france is the west, but it is euroasian like how Korea is and therefoe, it shouldn't be west like how you consider that later one not west
>>149936937 (OP)
Europe is literally the foundational continent for Western Civilization and is universally considered part of it to the day. The fuck are you talking about?
>>149938533
Well, i guess the animation industry there is considered different maybe? Because lots of proyects there aren't localized here in the americas. Same as the animations from other european countries.
>>149936937 (OP) >Europe isn't part of the West
Look anon, I get arguments for some parts of the world like Latin America, but Europe? The Europe that literally defined itself as "The West" for 2000 years?

OP here again.
With that new context that these anons said. Let's change the topic of this thread to: Why are European Animations, specifically French Animations more kino than America Animations?
>>149936937 (OP)
Honestly, they just take it seriously as an art form. It's not just for kids over there. Same with Japan. America has more talent than anywhere in the world, but there are two barriers to American animation becoming good: (1) Americans see cartoons as "for kids" and thus don't have high standards; (2) American media is primarily designed to demoralize the population so that it won't revolt.
