I feel the early JT episodes, when WB had more involvement, were actually decent, mediocre at worst.

The better voice acting, humor, and storytelling as well as the first season being traditionally animated really made it stand out better and it’s kind of a shame the half-assed and unfunny later seasons tainted its reputation.

I'd argue that early season 2 of Johnny Test wasn't bad either. The animation was obviously a downgrade and the writing wasn't as good, but the crew didn't go nearly as overboard with the sound effects and Johnny himself was still likeable.
